Moving Docs raises awareness about child refugees

Moving Docs is launching a campaign to raise awareness about child refugees in Europe.

More than 20% of refugee children in Greece have never been to school, and many of them cannot even hold a pencil, according to new research by aid agency Save the Children.

This fall, Moving Docs will screen At Home in the World and The Longest Run across Europe.

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date about the screenings taking place, as well as the fundraising campaign we will launch to support child refugee schools in Greece.

AT HOME IN THE WORLD is an intimate depiction of the everyday lives of five refugee children on a Danish Red Cross asylum school. The children; Magomed, Sehmuz, Heda, Amel and Ali have different nationalities and backgrounds, but they have all fled their homes with their families, arriving in Denmark with the hope of starting over.
